A kitchen, two hands and a dream

It all began in a home kitchen, with Juan and Teresa shaping the first croquettes by hand. They wanted to prove that eating well and eating healthy could finally be the same thing.

The craft became a workshop

Word of mouth grew faster than the kitchen. New customers, new recipes and the first workshops arrived — without ever losing the care for detail learned at home.

    Origin

    Juan and Teresa found Biosurya in Aragón with one conviction: plant-based food can improve people's lives and the planet's health.

  2. 1995
    Growth

    We expand our facilities and build a catalogue of over a hundred vegetarian and organic references.

  3. 2017
    Léa Nature

    We join Léa Nature, a European holding of 26 companies committed to organic agriculture.

    Future

    Over 235 products created, a presence across Europe and a team focused on innovation and sustainability.

Pioneers in plant-based alternatives

In 1978 Juan and Teresa, a young entrepreneurial couple, began the adventure of producing plant-based food. Driven to share their new and different eating habits with humanity. Their goal was always to care for more than just their own diet: to care for the planet through a healthy, rich and respectful way of eating.

Resulting in knowledge and expertise enjoyed in every recipe and in each of the more than 235 products Biosurya has brought to market throughout its history, pursuing healthy, rich and environmentally respectful nutrition, thanks to the accumulated know-how and continuous innovation.

Since 2017 Biosurya has been part of the Léa Nature group, a holding of 26 companies with over 40 brands on the market and a single goal: caring for people and the environment through organic products.
